World Mental Health Day - October 10
Yes, this is a time to be aware and think about how we support others, and it’s also a useful reminder to check in with ourselves.
How often do we stop and notice our own energy, boundaries, and well-being?
Check In With Yourself, 3 Steps
How am I feeling right now? Name the exact emotion: tired, anxious, stuck, relaxed, content, to help understand it better.
What does my body need? Notice if you’re holding tension, or if you need rest, water, or perhaps movement.
What’s taking up my headspace? Write down your current worries. Is there one small step you can take to address them? Or, can you let them go?
3 Ways to Take Care of Yourself
Do a random act of kindness, it has proven emotional benefits.
Make a coffee or tea date with a friend or loved one to connect and enjoy quality time together.
Practice gratitude, it can improve mental health and strengthen your relationships with others.
This week, notice what helps you feel more supported: a little space to recover, a clearer plan, a nourishing meal, or a fresh way of seeing something familiar.
Your inner wisdom already knows what you need. Today, just take a moment to listen
